Description
Harry Eagle first created MEM (Minimum Essential Medium) with Earle’s Salts, which has since been altered in a number of ways (such as by alpha modification) to accommodate several cell culture applications. Numerous suspension and adherent cells, such as fibroblasts, primary rat astrocytes, HeLa, BHK-21, HEK 293, HEP-2, HT-1080, and MCF-7, are grown in it.
Stable Glutamine is added to this modification of MEM with Earle’s Salts. A direct replacement for L-glutamine with greater stability is stable glutamine, also known as L-Alanyl-L-Glutamine.
Basic nutrients are provided by liquid media for all cell culture applications. Every one of our premium cell culture media is created using the original, published recipe or with adjustments that are necessary for the culture medium to function consistently and stay stable.
