RPMI 1640 Medium, w/o L-Glutamine

Description

The growth medium RPMI 1640 is employed in a variety of cell culture applications. Roswell Park Memorial Institute, where it was created in 1966, is referred to as RPMI.
L-Glutamine is not included in this RPMI 1640 formulation.

To sustain lymphoblastoid cells in suspension cultures, RPMI 1640 was created. A broad variety of different cell types, including astrocytes, carcinomas, HeLa, Jurkat, MCF-7, PC12, and PBMC, can also be supported by it. It has been demonstrated that RPMI 1640, which was initially designed to be supplemented with serum, may also sustain a number of cell lines when serum is not present.

Basic nutrients are provided by liquid media for all cell culture applications. Every one of our premium cell culture medium is created using the original, published recipe or any necessary adjustments to ensure the culture’s consistency in performance and stability.
